Position: Part-Time Ministry Assistant
Under the direct supervision of assigned Ministerial Staff, this position provides administrative and secretarial support for the assigned ministries. This person would perform duties such as coordination of meetings, obtaining supplies, direct mailings, working on special projects, answer correspondence, and deal with external callers and deliveries. There may be times this person would work with highly confidential and sensitive information. This assistant would deal with a diverse group including the public, church members, and visitors, as well as internal contacts at all levels of the organization. Zoar Baptist Church, Shelby, NC is currently seeking a full-time pastor who God is calling to serve our church and community. We are a conservative, Southern Baptist, family, community and mission oriented church that was established in 1837. We have traditional Sunday School and worship services with average attendance of 90 - 100. The pastor will lead three services each week (Sunday morning, Sunday evening, and Wednesday evening).
