Transform:  Teaching That Changes Lives

Saturday, April 13, 2013

7:30 am-2:30 pm

First Baptist Church of Indian Trail
732 Fairview-Indian Trail Road
Indian Trail NC 28079

Jesus told us in Matthew 28:19-20 to "go...teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you."  TRANSFORM is designed to lead teachers to understand what it means to have a group with a central focus on seeing lives transformed through the teaching and ministry of the group.

The goal of the TRANSFORM...Lives Through Teaching is to equip every Bible study teacher to teach God's Word in a way that brings about transformation in their members' lives.  One of the finest faculties in the nation will come together to provide a day of training for your leaders that  could have a life changing impact on teaching in your church.

Your teachers will be led to understand that teaching is more than just sharing information and that a teacher uses all of his or her relationships with class members and others to seek to teach.

This is a national LifeWay sponsored event. Please make plans to share this information with your Sunday School leaders so they can mark their calendars to attend.

Associational Partners,

Research shows that 98% of the fastest growing Sunday Schools have a strategic plan for training their leaders.  I would like to assist you and your churches by providing leadership training for Sunday School leaders.  New and continuing leaders are currently being enlisted, and it will be helpful for them to know that training is available for them.

I have attached a list including all of the associationally sponsored and scheduled Regional Sunday School Conferences for this fall beginning in August.  If you would like to sponsor and schedule a Regional Sunday School Leadership Training conference in your association, please contact me ASAP.  I will begin promoting these events via Constant Contact, the Biblical Recorder, and the web site (www.ncbaptist.org/sundayschool) very soon. If you have one planned that is not on my list, please let me know; I’ll be glad to assist in promoting your event.
